What is Preschool for All (PFA)?
The Mundelein Elementary District 75 Preschool for All (PFA) program, funded by the Illinois Department of Early Childhood, aims to provide educational services to all children aged 3 and 4 who qualify. The program primarily focuses on delivering high-quality educational resources to children who are at risk of academic failure. Additionally, it offers funding for programs that support families with low to moderate incomes whose children are not classified as academically at risk.
Program Placement:
Mundelein ESD 75 offers preschool programming to students identified as at-risk during the screening process or students who qualify for special education programming. Preschool for All (PFA) is a general education classroom for students who qualify based on the District's screening process. PFA classes are taught by general education teachers and have twenty students per section. Each classroom is staffed with a teacher and a paraprofessional.
Preschool Screenings:
To participate in a preschool screening at Lincoln Early Learning Center, a child must live within the District 75 boundaries and must be at least three years old and no older than five years old on or before September 1 of the current school year.
During the screening process, we assess a child's motor, cognitive, social, speech, and language skills, along with a brief parent interview.

Preschool Curriculum:
Mundelein District 75 utilizes a Creative Curriculum®. The Creative Curriculum System for Preschool is a research-based system that offers early childhood educators a comprehensive collection of resources to help them build high-quality programs. The preschool program also uses Teaching Strategies GOLD® for classroom assessment.
A day at Lincoln consists of:
- Gross Motor (Indoor or Outdoor)
- Large Group activity
- Choice Play / Snack
- Small groups
Lincoln Schedule:
Lincoln follows the Mundelein Elementary District 75 School Calendar and operates as a five-day program from Monday to Friday. The program includes morning and afternoon sessions, each lasting two hours and thirty minutes. The morning session takes place from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM, and the afternoon session runs from 12:15 PM to 2:45 PM.
Transportation:
Transportation to and from school is provided for children who qualify for our Early Childhood and At-Risk Programs. This service is available only within the boundaries of Mundelein D75.
