Rita Washburn
Technical Director

​​​Mrs. Washburn has been teaching at MG since 2013 and has been working on CSMS musicals since 2018.  She also works on set design and construction with Cricket Theatre, a children's community theater group.   She is very eager to share her love for theater with the with the crew as they participate in the technical aspects of theatre.

Moulee Gupta
​Director/ Choreographer​

​Mrs. Gupta has been teaching band at CSMS for since 2013, but has been teaching since 2002.  She holds her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign and holds a Masters in Music Education from VanderCook College of Music.  She loves musicals and is passionate about dance! Earlier in her career, she worked with the Walt Disney Company in both Florida and California.  She started the CSMS Musicals back in 2018 and is thrilled to see how much the excitement for musical theatre has grown at Carl Sandburg! 

Rosie Hunter
Vocal Director

​Ms. Hunter has been the Choir Teacher & Vocal Director at CSMS since 2022. Past productions: Newsies Jr. (CSMS), Hairspray Jr. & Mulan Jr. (Tokyo International Players). Ms. Hunter became the private vocal instructor at MHS in 2023. Ms. Hunter is a professional performer, member of Actors' Equity Association, and represented by BMG Talent in Chicago. Ms. Hunter would like to thank her family for their constant love and support.
